Very tasty and above all fresh pizza. The contact is also very friendly. During Corona, the service with to-go food is perfect. The only thing missing from the tuna pizza is the onion ... but still very tasty

Very friendly welcome and very good cuisine, pleasant hotel

We went to eat there with our young children (1 and 2.5 years old). The landlord was very nice and, without being asked, brought our own small plate and fork for our grown-ups. The two also ate a 3/4 pizza together. The food was really great. I've never seen my husband rave about a Pizza Margherita :) we will definitely be back sometime

We were warmly welcomed by the host Toni. We could park for free in front of the house. The room is clean and very nicely decorated, the bathroom is clean and well equipped. The breakfast is delicious and rich and Toni also mastered special requests for dinner. We had two very nice nights with our dogs and will definitely come back. Sure there are always better ... but Toni deserves 6 stars. Sincere thanks for the great service.

Family-run hotel, which would need a renovation. Small rooms, unappealing, after all clean bathroom, simple breakfast (no buffet). In some rooms there is a toilet flush that is so loud that you are afraid to wake the other guests at night. Price - performance - ratio is not right. There are better hotels nearby for the same price.

Excellent food and very good host. Definitely worth a visit. We don't speak much German but made to feel very welcome.

Family-run hotel in the historic center of Staufen. The boss is nice and always ready for information. Well-run pizzeria with meat dishes on offer. The rooms correspond to the hotel category. Other restaurants can be reached quickly on foot.

Outstanding..... The food was really delicious .... The food took a bit (Schnitzel 20 min ca, was on the menu) The food was fresh and tasty !! The host was very attentive and responded to our requests ... Very child friendly! Everything in a very warm and comfortable! Gladly again...

Friendly staff and nice food

Small older restaurant in a hotel. Simple but clean. Unusually large selection of dishes also on meat dishes. Pizza is well stocked and tasty. Everyone likes them differently, so that's not so objective. The salad was a bit expensive for the quality and the dressing from the bottle. There was no choice here either. The guest wants to be asked which dressing he wants. There was no alternative here. And the dressing was finished. I wonder about him the answer since I only reports it was for us. As I said: was not bad, but not a highlight, anyway? 👍

When I first came into the sun I could hardly believe it. My schnitzel was huge. I have never seen such a big schnitzel. Incredible. And it tasted fantastic. Simply delicious. There is a huge selection of schnitzel and rump steaks here. Dreamlike combinations. But the pasta is delicious. The boss is very nice. I like to come here

I have often gone past the Restaurant Sonne but unfortunately never went in. That was a mistake. Today I wanted to eat something and asked for the card. The boss brought me the card and I was overwhelmed. Here's a super selection of schnitzel rumpsteaks and lamb chops for really tasty combinations not to mention the pasta and pizza selection. The boss has also recommended a great red wine. I was completely satisfied. I'm looking forward to the next visit
